Seven municipalities have been designated for the implementation of the Programme SIRP – Settlement and Integration of Refugees in Serbia, by the Government of the republic of Serbia, in agreement with the Government of Italy and with UN-HABITAT, with which a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed in January 2003.
In March 2005, the municipalities of Cacak, Kraljevo, Pancevo, Valjevo and Stara pazova, and the Cities of Kragujevac and Nis have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UN-HABITAT, defining terms of co-operation and respective responsibilities for the implementation of Programme activities. |
